In the photo looking across Millineum park with the Sears Tower in the middle is a large modern structure to the left "The Mid Continental Plaza" I worked in that building from 1974 until 2009. The photos of the double deck Michigan ave. bridge across the Chicago river bring back memories of biking across the lower section on the way to Navy Pier for lunch. once again, great photos.

gostaria de saber como faço para achar a trilha que leva a antiga usina. pois ja andei por varias trilhas depois do ultimo sitio e nada so ruinas e ferros retorcidos isso apos andar por mais de seis horas mata a dentro.

A antiga usina foi meu lar. Hoje é aquilo que voce viu, só restos. Aquilo teria que ser tombado como patrimonio historico, mas a Santista abandonou. Sem comentários, o que querem fazer hije é só engodo, Não era nada daquilo que esta lá.

Triste fim do sistema de Veiculo Sobre Trilhos (VLT)/Pré-Metrô quase natimorto de Campinas. Veja sua história no site da EFBrasil.

Acredito que a causa tanto do abandono do Pré-Metrô de Campinas como da substituição de parte da frota de troleibus por onibus a óleo diesel na capital paulista e no grande ABC, se deveu ao fato do óleo diesel estar muito mais barato do que a energia elétrica na época.E esse ainda é um obstáculo a esse tipo de projeto ainda nos nossos dias.

Meus parabens pela linda foto da estação do Valongo. Já peguei e cheguei de trem nesta interessante estação. Querem fazer um trem turístico pela antiga serra (funicular) de SP até Santos. Será?????? Sou bibliotecário da ABPF/RJ.
